Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can we have alcohol in the building?

    Yes, alcohol is permitted in the building as long as it stays within The Living Room event space.

  • Are there waitstaff and a bartender on staff?

    No, you must provide your own bartender and waitstaff.

  • Do you provide catering services?

    No, The Living Room does not provide food or beverage services.We do recommend and partner with the following five companies, but you are not required to book with them.

    Each of our partner catering companies bring something different to the table, and all offer wonderful food and superior service.

  • Do you provide event setup / teardown?

    Included in your event rental, we will setup and teardown our tables and chairs only. We ask that you remove everything you bring into the venue.

  • Do you provide coat racks?

    Yes, upon request.

  • Are there any photography restrictions? Am I free to take pictures anywhere in or outside the building?

    You are free to take photos anywhere you like within the public space of the Mastercraft Building and its surrounding areas.

  • Do you provide trash / recycling bins / dumpsters onsite?

    Yes, we provide bins, liners, and dumpsters for your convenience.

  • Is the facility secure?

    Yes, it is a fenced property with one access gate. The Living Room entry doors remotely unlock and lock to accommodate your event schedule.

  • Can we have a portion of our ceremony or reception outside?

    Yes. We have a landscaped outdoor area, The Terrace, that is available to you with The Living Room rental. Additional charges will apply for setup and rental.

  • Do you have on-site event coordinator?

    Our venue manager is eager to help you with all things that involve The Living Room. Currently the venue manager is not a wedding planner but can answer any questions you have!

  • Do you have a liquor license?

    No, The Living Room does not hold a liquor license. This means you cannot sell liquor on the premises as per the city ordinance.

  • What is the rental fee?

    Our prices range from $1,500-$2,800. Premium dates, such as-but not limited to, dates during the College World Series, holidays, and days surrounding holidays, rent at higher prices. Please fill out the form on the contact page for exact pricing and availability.

  • Can I have my wedding ceremony at The Living Room?

    Yes! You are more than welcome to have your ceremony here at The Living Room. If a room reset is required between the ceremony and reception, additional charges may apply.

  • Are there any setup restrictions at The Living Room?

    We ask that you do not hang anything on the walls. Upon consult with the venue manager, special provisions can be made. Hooks have been installed along some perimeter walls and at I-beams for your use. Columns can be decorated. We do not allow flame of any kind, glitter, confetti, or decor that leaves any residue behind.

  • Are there dressing rooms onsite?

    We provide a small locking room inside both the men’s and women’s restroom in order to store personal items and do quick touch-ups. The two rooms have a sink, seating area, and shower.

  • Are we able to come and go as needed throughout the day?

    Yes. We will give the renter a key fob that allows access to the space throughout your rental period upon request.

  • Is parking free?

    Yes. We can currently park over 400 cars on our surface level parking lot.

  • Do you provide china, flatware, and linens?

    No, but you are welcome to bring in your own china, flatware, and linens.

  • Is there a dance floor?

    The Living Room does not have a traditional style dance floor, but does have a hard-surface room adjacent to The Living Room which can be used as one.
